Domiciliary Care – Banking Only Portadown

Rutledge Domiciliary Care are currently looking for caring, compassionate, enthusiastic and knowledgeable care workers to join an already established and professional care team to deliver high standard of personal and practical support in clients own homes. We are currently recruiting in the Portadown area.

Main responsibilities:

• Our sitting service ranges from 2 hours to 9 hours depending on the individual’s needs, during a sit you will be assisting with personal care/meal provision/social support etc.

· To provide sitting service for the elderly / vulnerable adults

· To carry out all personal and practical care in line with the care plan

· To assist with all personal and hygiene care to include dressing/undressing, feeding, toileting, bathing/showering, mouth care and hair care

· To administer/prompt/assist medication

· To travel from home to home

· To safely use hoists and other mobility equipment

· To report and keep daily records in clients’ files

· Excellent rate of pay (£11.50 – £13.50* per hour) + £50 SIGNING BONUS + PAID TRAINING AND SHADOWING AT £100*T&Cs APPLY

Key requirements:

· Have a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle

· Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given

· Willingness to complete enhanced Access NI check

· Willingness to register with NISCC
