WEEK 1 - EMPLOYER

SPONSOR LICENCE

1) Check if your company meet the requirements:

2) APPLY for Sponsor Licence on Home Office website:

TYPE OF LICENCE: Worker licence – Skilled Worker

Assign Authorising Officer – your senior employee assisting with overseas

recruitment Pay the Fee of GBP £536 (£1476 for medium or large companies)

Send requested documents via email

DECISION TIME – 8 weeks ((premium service – additional £500 – decision 10

working days)

You’re usually a small sponsor if at least 2 of the following apply: -

  • your annual turnover is £10.2 million or less;
  • your total assets are worth £5.1 million or less;
  • you have 50 employees or fewer.

Documents required from Home Office include:

  • Corporate/Business Bank Statement;
  • Employee Liability Insurance Certificate;
  • HMRC recent tax return;
  • HMRC Vat registration;
  • HMRC PAYE reference letter;
  • Organisational Chart (form will be provided upon application completion).

WEEK 1 – RUTLEDGE RECRUITMENT

POLO-London

We will collect from you the required documents to apply for a verification and accreditation from the Philippine Embassy London.

RUTLEDGE STAFF will assist with Job Order, Service Agreement, Annexes and advice on Master Employment Contract to avoid any delays.

Documents will be notarised and legalised before sending off to the Philippine Embassy.

VERIFICATION PROCESS – 4 weeks

WEEK 2-4 – RUTLEDGE RECRUITMENT

Recruitment Process in the Philippines:

- Manpooling;

- Shortlisting.

WEEK 4 – EMPLOYER INTERVIEWS

- Online Interviews (via Zoom or WhatsApp)

- Issuing of Offer Letters to successful candidates

WEEK 4-8 – RUTLEDGE RECRUITMENT

Processing candidates with IELTS (English exams), Medical Tests, Police Checks and other requirements in preparation for UK Visa application and UK deployment.

POLO-London documentation sent off to Philippine Overseas Employment Administration for final accreditation in the Philippines.

Upon Sponsor Licence Application Completion we will meet again and using SMS (sponsor management system) we will apply for number of defined COS (certificates of sponsorship).

Once approved by Home Office – RUTLEDGE RECRUITMENT will assign COS for hired workers.

FIRST EXPENSE FOR EMPLOYER: COST of COS is £199
Immigration Skills Charge is £364 (small company) or £1,000 (medium/large) for each year of worker’s sponsorship.

EXAMPLE: Certificate of Sponsorship for a worker on a 2-year Visa will be = £927 or £2199.

Using assigned COS – RUTLEDGE STAFF will apply the workers for UK Visa.

Cost of UK Skilled Worker Visa application is £625 per person.
At the same time employer has to shoulder Healthcare Surcharge = £624 per year.

EXAMPLE: 2-year Visa application will cost £1,873) – these fees can be claimed back via salary deduction.

Visa decision time is one week
Followed by booking flights
The Worker is ready to commence work from day 1 of arrival in the UK

Last obligation is – for the worker to collect BRP card within 10 days of arrival in the UK

BRP card will has workers’ National Insurance Number.
