Job Overview

In this rewarding role, you’ll support patients in a Nursing Home setting during the day shift Your work will help residents with their daily activities while promoting comfort, dignity, and independence. Responsibilities
As a day Shift Care Worker, your duties will include:

  • Assisting with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Supporting hygiene and nutritional needs, including meal preparation and assistance with feeding where required.
  • Implementing and monitoring care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
  • Keeping accurate records of progress and reporting any changes in condition.
  • Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life.
  • Assisting with mobility and physical activities as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Helping to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for both residents and staff.

Essential Criteria

  • 6 months’ experience in a similar role within the UK.
  • NISCC registered (or willingness to register).
  • Completion of annual Access NI checks.
  • Commitment to attending and completing training requirements.
  • This role is subject to a clear ACCESSNI Enhanced Vetting Check (a criminal record will not necessarily prevent employment).

Job Details

  • Shift: 8am – 8pm (long day)
  • Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
  • Pay: £14.00 – £16.00 per hour
